 A DEADLY ATTACK ON A ‘HAM’ CANDIDATE DURING CAMPAIGN

PATNA------------------------Election campaigning for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections is in full swing. Meanwhile, a candidate from Union Minister and former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi's party, "Hum," has been attacked. Shots were reportedly fired during the campaign.

According to reports, Hindustan Awam Morcha candidate Anil Kumar was attacked during the election campaign. This attack occurred in the Tikari Assembly constituency of Gaya. While he was in Tikari's Dighora village during a public relations campaign, some people attacked his car with bricks and stones.

He suffered serious injuries to his hands, back, head, and legs. Anil Kumar was injured in the attack, along with several of his workers. Hum candidate Anil Kumar suffered a head injury.

According to Anil Kumar, "People in Manjhitola became enraged, and supporters of opposition parties attacked and started throwing bricks. Five to seven rounds of firing were also fired, causing chaos. He was seriously injured. The workers who were with him were also beaten and injured."
